Power batteries are an important category in the battery industry. Power batteries generally refer to batteries that provide power for new energy vehicles, power batteries can be divided into lead-acid batteries, nickel-cadmium batteries, nickel-hydrogen batteries, lithium batteries, fuel cells several categories.

In China, the development of power battery has accelerated in recent years, but the market has been affected by the decline of subsidies, the growth rate has slowed down, experts said. Experts believe that the domestic points system and the exit plans of fuel-powered vehicles introduced by various countries will form a reverse mechanism, promoting the transformation of traditional vehicle manufacturers, and predicting that the power battery market will grow steadily by 2020, battery supply and demand may return to reasonable range.

The integral system can effectively adjust the development ratio of new energy vehicle and traditional fuel vehicle, thus promoting the orderly development of the power battery industry. In terms of battery technology, power cells now mainly include lithium-ion battery and fuel cells, and the entire industry chain is becoming increasingly sophisticated, the upstream of the industrial chain mainly includes lithium, nickel, cobalt, graphite and other mineral resources and cathode materials, anode materials, isolation film, electrolyte four battery materials.

Upstream, there is a smaller share of aluminum, platinum, copper foil, solvents, etc. . In the middle, mainly battery monomers into modules after the PACK with the BMS process, downstream in addition to the application market such as electric vehicles, attention also needs to be paid to the area of battery recycling. Liquid-cooled radiator experts say the orderly development of the industrial chain is particularly critical for the development of the power battery industry, which is where China is competitive compared to other markets.

Internationally, although China's domestic development of power batteries is accelerating, technology is constantly being updated, and the overall volume also has a larger proportion in the world, compared with first-line large manufacturers such as Japan and South Korea, there is still a big gap, and there is still a long way to go in terms of technology patents and technology deposition.
